The Boston Celtics past the Philadelphia 76ers 95-86 on Thursday night to send the Eastern Conference semifinals back to Boston for Game 7.
The Celtics star guard Marcus Smart (22 points) backed up head coach Joe Mazzulla in his postgame interview, especially his changes to the starting lineup.
“I was ecstatic about it,” said Smart on Robert Williams III being inserted into the starting 5 for Derrick White. “That just goes to show you Joe’s learning. That just goes to show you Joe’s learning.”
