The Lakers defeated the Warriors for the second time in a row to take a 3-1 lead in the Western Conference Semifinals. Game 5 will take place at Golden State.
LeBron James, who led the winners in scoring with 27 points, emphasized the importance of having a desperate mindset in the next game.
“As hard as this game was, it’s going to be even harder [in Game 5 in San Francisco],” James said. “We understand that. We know that. And if we don’t come in with a desperate mindset like they’re going to come in, then they’re going to blow us out of that arena.
“We’ve been in a 3-1 situation in round one versus Memphis, so we got to learn from that. We’re not saying that Memphis is Golden State. Both teams are well coaches, both teams are great. But we also know we’re dealing with the defending champions.”
