The Lakers took a commanding 3-1 lead against the Warriors in the Western Conference Semifinals with Game 4 win in Los Angeles (104-101).

Anthony Davis, who finished the game with a double-double of 23 points and 15 rebounds, also played a major role defensively, switching out on Steph Curry on multiple occasions.

His teammate LeBron James praised Davis for his performance on the defensive end, calling his the best defensive player in the NBA.

“He’s the best defensive player in the league,” James said about AD. “I mean you know. I think the league knows this as well. Not many guys that can protect the rim at all costs and also switch out on point guards, switch out on guys like Steph. Steph is a hell of a player. He had a hell of a game. I think he even had a triple-double. But we trust AD guarding anybody in this league and he showed that.”
