The Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown reacted to Trae Young’s game-winner in the Celtics’ 119-117 loss to the Atlanta Hawks in Game 5 at TD Garden. Boston was in the lead but collapsed late in the 4th quarter to let Atlanta back into the game and jump into the lead. Brown scored 35 points and Jayson Tatum added 19 for the Celtics.
“That’s a tough basket, a tough shot in the playoffs,” Brown said, via ESPN. “Maybe if I had forced him toward the basket a little bit more, I could have picked him up a little bit better.
“But maybe we shouldn’t have been in that position in the first place.”
