Game 2 of the first round series between the Warriors and Kings involved a controversial incident in which Domantas Sabonis held Draymond Green’s leg and then the latter responded by stomping on the former.

Sabonis was given a technical foul while Green was ejected with 7 minutes left to play in the fourth quarter. De’Aaron Fox says it was the moment that brought the Kings together as they rallied to take the win and a 2-0 lead in the series.

“I think that brought us together,” Fox said postgame. HB [Harrison Barnes] brought us, we huddled up and we were like ‘We have to win this game,’ especially, everybody thought he’d be ejected.

“So when that happens usually that team kind of comes together and goes on a run, but we were able to negate that and I think we finished the game extremely well in those last few minutes.”
