Over the last decade the Warriors won four NBA champions and had many playoff series. But the team has not been in a position where it is 0-2 at the start of the series.

Steph Curry’s team lost to the Kings in Game 2 in the first round series. The superstar says that one needs to embrace the situation.

“You got to embrace it. You do this as long as we have… 28 series and we’ve never been in this situation. So gotta stay together, stay locked in on things we need to do better,” Curry said, via Madeline Kenney.

Looking from a historical perspective, the Warriors in great danger of being eliminated. As noted by Marc J. Spears, Golden State is the fifth NBA champion to fall behind 2-0 in the first round. Each of the prior four went on to lose, with three getting swept.
