With 7 minutes left to play in the fourth quarter of Game 2 between the Kings and Warriors, Draymond Green was ejected for stepping on Domantas Sabonis who was down on the floor.
Despite the painful incident, the Lithuanian center was not mad at his opponent, saying that it is playoff basketball.
“It’s playoff basketball,” Sabonis said. “Look at the fans. This is it. We’re here to fight. Every time we step on the floor we’re going to give everything for our teammates and the franchise.”
He was further asked if he feel any animosity towards Green. “No, we’re both fighting for the rebound,” he said. “We found each other stuff happened. It’s basketball. We got to move on to next play.”
