At the side of the Charlotte Hornets, Steve Clifford is also facing uncertainty regarding his head coaching security to the team.

Per Jake Fischer of Yahoo! Sports, Clifford may likely be ousted given Michael Jordan’s intent to sell his majority stake to the team. A new majority ownership could apply a different coaching presence to replace Clifford.

Clifford made a return to the team this season after their partnership from 2013 to 2018. But in his first year back, the Hornets struggled and set out to finish as one of the worst teams in the league.

The 61-year-old mentor has a .453 percent win rate with the Hornets for 490 total career games with them.
