Damian Lillard has completed his 11th year in Portland after he was shut down for this season by the Trail Blazers.

The 32-year-old superstar point guard has remained loyal to the team that drafted him to the NBA despite all the struggles that it went through.

Former NBA player Matt Barnes thinks that the time has come for Lillard to move to another team. However, he doesn’t think it will happen unless the Blazers push him out.

“I hope we don’t see Damian Lillard in a Portland Trail Blazers uniform no more,” Barnes said on WHAT’S BURNING, via HoopsHype. “That’s no knock on him…

“I think the only way Dame leaves Portland is if they quote unquote make him leave (…) I think Portland’s gonna have to push him out to get him to leave. I don’t think if you leave it up to him that he’s going to leave at this point.”

This season Lillard averaged 32.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and 7.3 assists as Portland failed to make the postseason for the second straight year.
