This year’s NBA Dunk Contest champion Mac McClung is not getting a chance to play in the league. The 23-year-old point guard who was signed by the 76ers to a two-way deal in February continues playing in the G League.
Most recently McClung was named the G League Player of the Week. He averaged 28.7 points, 4.3 assists and 1.7 steals over three games for the Delaware Blue Coats.
This season McClung, who rejected an offer to play in EuroLeague, is averaging 19.3 points, 2.5 rebounds and 5 assists in 26.7 minutes per game in the G League.
