Anthony Davis dropped game-high 39 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 assists, leading the Lakers past the Warriors (113-105).

After the game Los Angeles head coach Darvin Ham talked about the 29-year-old forward and his performance against Golden State.

“He did a great job setting the tone, blocking shots,” Ham said. “A has been a rock, he and Bron both have been great. Just being locked in mentally, even times it’s Bron right now not physically being able to help us, but still locked in mentally spiritually, coaching up the guys on the bench, sharing with the coaches as well what they’re seeing.

“One thing we came into the season saying we want to play fast, physical and free with force. He exuded all of those words on the offensive end tonight.”

This season Davis is averaging 26.1 points, 12.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 33.3 minutes per game.
