Mikal Bridges dropped game-high 38 points as he helped the Nets erase a 28-point deficit to defeat the Celtics.

The form the 26-year-old forward was on the rise before he got traded to Brooklyn and he stepped up even more since joining the Nets.

“I think when I got traded, it was kind of at the right time,” Bridges said, per Erik Slater. “Because when everyone was out in Phoenix, I had to take up another role offensively and be more aggressive. By the time I got traded I was just in this great rhythm and I was confident. It was just great timing.”

Since he move to Brooklyn, Bridges is averaging 23.4 points, 5 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 32.9 minutes per game.
