FREISING (Germany) – The teams participating in the FIBA European Youth Championships 2023 found out their opponents for the summer tournaments as the draws were concluded on Tuesday in Freising, Germany.

FIBA Executive Director Kamil Novak, FIBA Europe Vice President Carmen Tocala were in attendance for Tuesday’s draws alongside representatives from the national federations.

Greek national team legend Evina Maltsi and former Great Britain captain Dan Clark were on hand to assist with the draw proceedings.

A total of 246 teams will compete across the 16 youth events, which will be played across three age categories and three divisions.

The FIBA U18 Women’s European Championship, Division B in Sofia, Bulgaria will be the first tournament to get underway on June 30 with the summer events concluding on August 19.
