NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was the NBA all-time leading scorer until Tuesday when LeBron James broke his record.

As a big man, he stuck to his role and did not do things that the guards do such as bring the ball down the court like Giannis Antetokounmpo does. Kareem thinks he was overcoached as a child.

“You get the rebound, you better not try to take it down to the other end of the court as a frontline player. That was gospel when I played. Giannis has blown through all that,” Abdul-Jabbar said, per Ben Golliver.
