Klay Thompson dropped 42 points in Warriors’ win over the Thunder. It was the third time this season when the four-time NBA champion scored at least 40 points.

The five-time NBA All-Star did not make the cut this season and he admits that he did not deserve the selection, but he is confident he will be in the All-Star Game in future.

“To be honest, no,” Thompson said when asked if he thought he deserved to be an All-Star this year. “If our record was better, yes. But being two games above .500, I don’t think I should be in Salt Lake City.

“But I will be an All-Star before it’s all said and done again at least. It’s a goal of mine. I’m gonna show up when it matters most, I’ll tell you that.”

This season Thompson is averaging 20.8 points, 4 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 32.6 minutes per game.
