The woes within the Milwaukee Bucks continue to pile up, with the club horribly taking a major defeat in front of their Fiserv Forum crowd this Friday.

In what could be an unbelievable fashion, the Bucks were destroyed by the Charlotte Hornets, 138-109, and Mike Budenholzer can only deliver concerns on his team’s zigzag progress so far this season.

“We haven’t matched what it takes to be competitive in an NBA game on multiple occasions now and it’s concerning,” Budenholzer said in postgame.

On their home turf, the Bucks openly allowed the Hornets to establish historic feats. Led by Terry Rozier and LaMelo Ball, Charlotte swarmed Milwaukee with their 51-point explosion in the first quarter – the most by any team since 2019 when the Golden State Warriors spanked the Denver Nuggets. The scoring mark also served as the highest record in any quarter in team history.

Superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo had one of the worst nights he can have in his illustrious career, chucking up an abysmal nine-point finish as he went 2-for-7 from the field and was limited to 22 minutes in truly a forgettable night for the Bucks faithful.

The Bucks, still without Khris Middleton, have now sided with a 25-14 record, with the resurging Brooklyn Nets (26-13) moving up to second place behind the league’s best Boston Celtics.

Milwaukee will look to make a needed adjustment as they will prepare to face the New York Knicks on Monday to start their road trip.
