For the second time around, an uneven rim took a major toll on the Denver Nuggets’ in-game composure.

The officials halted Denver’s home game against the Cleveland Cavaliers with 11:22 left in the fourth frame as it was found out that the rim was bent in the form again.

The Nuggets were leading by 14, 96-82, against the Cavs when the game was stopped. As such, the crowd showered their boos with head coach Mike Malone doing nothing but shake his head from disappointment. Jamal Murray sat down with fans for a brief chatter.

A handful of personnel came to the rescue to fix the rim, as it took them almost 10 minutes to finish readjusting.

Their action was much faster compared to last Sunday’s game against the Boston Celtics, wherein the repairing lasted for over 30 minutes.

“Don’t get me started,” Malone said after the game, referring to the bent rim (h/t ESPN). “It’s not good for my blood pressure.”

Despite the delay, the Nuggets easily picked up a 121-108 win over the Cavaliers, with Jokic tallying another triple-double with 28 points, 15 boards, and 10 assists. Jamal Murray provided the backup offensive punch with his 18 markers and four boards.

The Nuggets now have won eight of their last 10 games and firmly gripping their hold of the Western Conference’s upper echelon as the first seed.
