Orlando Magic center Bol Bol has entered the NBA’s health and safety protocols, per Khobi Price of The Orlando Sentinel.

Given the length of recovery, it is safe to assume that he will miss the Magic’s Wednesday matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

This season, Bol made a significant leap in his growth and numbers, averaging 12.0 points, 7.1 boards, and 1.6 blocks in 58.8 percent shooting. He suddenly emerged as the Magic’s prized young piece upon the tremendous development he’s been putting in.

With him out in the meantime, Wendell Carter Jr. and Paolo Banchero are all expected to have increased exposure under coach Jamahl Mosley.
