The game between the Mavericks and Timberwolves ended prematurely for Luka Doncic. With 2 minutes left to play in the third quarter and Dallas trailing by 16 points, he was given a double-technical foul and was ejected for arguing with the referees.

Doncic complained for what he thought was a foul against him that was not called. Following Luka’s ejection, Mavs head coach Jason Kidd stepped in and was ejected as well.

“I probably deserved the one, but two — for sure no,” the Slovenian superstar said, per Callie Caplan. “Two is just a little bit too much. But I deserve the first one, I’m not going to lie. For sure not the second, I was really shocked I was ejected.”

The Mavericks ended up losing the game 106-116. Doncic had 19 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists in 28 minutes of play before the ejection.
