The Lakers once again lost Anthony Davis due to an injury. The 29-year-old forward injured his right foot during the game against the Nuggets.

He will miss tonight’s game against the Wizards, but his absence will not be limited to one game. According to Adrian Wojnarowski and Dave McMenamin of ESPN, the 2020 NBA champion is expected to be out for multiple weeks.

Every year since the 2019-2020 season Davis has missed extended periods of time due to injuries and this season is added to that list.

This season Davis is averaging 27.4 points, 12.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 33.4 minutes per game.
