Ben Simmons won’t be available to play for the Brooklyn Nets against the Washington Wizards on Wednesday due to left knee soreness, per ESPN’s Nick Friedell.

Simmons sustained the injury back in the Nets’ 109-102 win over the Orlando Magic last Monday, wherein he finished with four boards and three assists prior to his exit.

This will make Simmons be absent for his seventh game with the Nets this season, as his previous unavailabilities were also marred by knee discomfort.

In 17 games played for Brooklyn, Simmons is averaging 8.4 points, 6.6 boards, 5.8 assists, and 1.2 steals in 61.4 percent shooting.
