The Lakers recorded their fifth win of the season and third win in a row by crushing the Spurs (123-92). It was a productive game for a former Wizards Thomas Bryant who scored 15 points (5/5 FG) in 23 minutes of play off the bench.

Russell Westbrook, who was teammates with Bryant in Washington, also came off the bench to score 10 points and dish out 10 assists. After the game he was asked about playing alongside the center.

“Just running. Any time I see my bigs and guys run, I like to reward them,” Russ said. “I can make the game easy for them. Especially the guys like Thomas [Bryant], Wenyen [Gabriel], whoever is on the floor.

“I take pride in making guys better around me. I’m happy to see [Thomas Bryant] come back and catch his rhythm and play well.”
