The Boston Celtics veteran forward Al Horford reacted to reports that the Nets hired Celtics head coach Ime Udoka, with Boston allowing their suspended leader to walk to a division rival in Brooklyn.

Marcus Smart and Jaylen Brown spoke about frustration over the hire, and Horford said that it’s real, but the Celtics have a job to do starting vs the Chicago Bulls tonight.

Horford said Boston will be happy if he gets a new job: “That’s something that’s there. It’s a real thing, but at the end of the day we have a job we have to do.”
