Orlando Magic guard Cole Anthony will be sidelined indefinitely after an imaging confirmed that he has a right internal oblique muscle injury, the club announced on Thursday. His return to play depends on his response from rehabilitation.

Anthony managed to play in the Magic’s Wednesday loss against the Cleveland Cavaliers, but had an inconsistent showing with nine points (2-for-10 shooting), five boards and five assists.

His absence adds another huge swing in Orlando’s depleted backcourt, as Jalen Suggs, Markelle Fultz and Gary Harris are also out.

Anthony is averaging 15.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.3 assists this season.
