Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr details a much clearer and positive news regarding Klay Thompson’s continuing preparation to be ready for the 2022-23 season.

According to Kerr, Thompson is having a solid development in his practice and workouts.

“Been good,”Kerr told Jason Dumas of 95.7 The Game with regards to Thompson’s workout status. “Every day has gone well and it is just a matter of continuing to build up his body to the point where the performance team says he’s ready to go.”

On Sunday, Kerr noted an uplifting news that Thompson could perhaps be finally available in their season opener in Oct. 18 against the Los Angeles Lakers, but they are also optimistic that the star shooting guard will be good to go on their preseason ender.

Thompson, who missed two-straight seasons nursing an ACL and Achilles surgery recovery, is being placed on precautionary measures by the franchise to be able to defend their title this new campaign.
