The projected number one pick of the 2023 NBA Draft Victor Wembanyama recently received compliments from Lakers superstar LeBron James, who said he is ‘more like an alien.’
In response the French prodigy was thankful for the praise, but stressed the importance of staying focused on his goals and not getting carried away.
The two players met in person in Las Vegas as Wembanyama attended a game between the Lakers and Timberwolves. James and Anthony Davis were among the players that sat out the game.
The 18-year-old forward/center shook hands with both of Los Angeles superstars as he walked past them.
