The Boston Celtics interim head coach Joe Mazzulla was interviewed following the Celtics’ 125-119 overtime loss to the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night. Although the team lost, Mazzulla took time to praise the performance of Sam Hauser, who had another strong showing with 22 points on 8-of-12 shooting and 5-of-8 from beyond the arc.
“His confidence comes through his work ethic,” said Mazzulla of Hauser. “(He) works really hard, does a great job of playing off others, and takes what the defense gives him.”
The Celtics will play again on Friday against the Charlotte Hornets in their third preseason game.
