The Heat finally signed an extension with Tyler Herro. It is a four-year $120 million deal which will keep the 22-year-old point guard in Miami for the next five years.

Team president Pat Riley was happy to have secured Herro’s services for a long term. According to him, the extension is a result of his improvement every year.

“Tyler is an impact multi-faceted player and we are excited to have him signed for the next 5 years. His improvement every year since we drafted him has led to this day. We believe he will continue to get better,” Riley said, per Barry Jackson.

Last season Herro averaged 20.7 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in 32.6 minutes per game coming off the bench for the Heat.
