After four years with the Spurs, Lonnie Walker IV signed with the Lakers as a free agent on a one-year deal. The 23-year-old guard took to social media to express his feelings about leaving San Antonio.

“Just spent my last hours in SA and to think I’m not coming back is crazy. Will forever love the city of San Antonio. Y’all got my heart 💕🙏🏾 I can’t thank the fans and the community enough. Love y’all ☯️,” Walker tweeted.

This past season Walker averaged 12.1 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 23 minutes per game coming off the bench.
