11-time NBA champion Bill Russell, who was one of the most important and accomplished athletes in history, died on Sunday at the age of 88 with his wife Jeannine by his side, his family announced.
Former Los Angeles Lakers big man and current TNT analyst Shaquille O’Neal took to Twitter to react to the news: “Thank you for paving the way. You will be missed legend.”
