Reigning Euroleague champions Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv have officially extended the contract of forward Devin Smith, which keeps him at the club until 2018. 

Smith, currently enjoying his fourth season with the Israeli giants is averaging 15.4 points and 6.2 rebounds in 21 games this season, both team-highs. 

The 31-year-old started his career with Gipuzkoa Basket Club in Spain and also played for Panellinios Athens in Greece, as well as for Avellino and Benetton Treviso in Italy. 

Smith was chosen to the All-Eurocup first team twice – with Panellinios in the 2009-10 seasons and with Benetton the following year. He has been chosen as the bwin Player of the Month twice in the Euroleague – in March 2013 and December 2014.

He has also helped Maccabi win two Israeli League, four Israeli State Cups and an Adriatic League title between 2012 and 2015.
