Star hotshot Devin Booker will be unavailable on the Phoenix Suns’ Game 5 first-round square-off against the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday, ESPN’s Brian Windhorst recently noted

Booker continues to recover his right hamstring injury which he sustained in the third quarter of Game 2 last week. It was then announced that he suffered from a grade 1 strain and will miss two to three weeks of action for the Suns. Before leaving the game, he was sizzling hot from the field, carving up 31 points before entering the second half.

Way back in December this season, the franchise shooting guard also had a hamstring injury in his left knee which forced him to miss almost two weeks.

The series will shift back to the Valley, wherein both teams are knotted at 2-2. The Pelicans had a resounding 118-103 Game 4 dub to evade being down two games, thanks to Brandon Ingram’s splendid offensive performance.

With Booker out, Cam Johnson is expected to continue his starting duties for the regular season best Suns.
