Promising power forward Patrick Williams will finally make a return to the hardwood, as he will fortify the Chicago Bulls against the Toronto Raptors on Monday (h/t ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski).

Recently, Williams was assigned to his team’s G League affiliate, the Windy City Bulls, to get reps and be conditioned. He was cleared for full contact work and has progressed greatly throughout his extended absence.

Williams only managed to play five games this season before going down with a torn ligament in his left wrist. He was required to undergo a surgery to fix the said injury.

The 20-year-old big man is being praised for his versatility and high potential, averaging 9.2 points, 4.6 boards in 48 percent shooting last season.

With the Bulls sliding down lately in the East standings with a 41-29 record, his impending comeback will truly help to shake things around in the Windy City as the playoffs are approaching.
