The Chicago Bulls have secured their future by signing Patrick Williams to a lucrative five-year, $90 million contract extension.

NBA insider Michael Scotto confirmed the deal, highlighting Williams’ significant role as a cornerstone for the Bulls moving forward.

Williams, selected as the No. 4 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, has showcased his versatility and shooting prowess, boasting a career 41% shooting accuracy from beyond the arc.

With a flat $18 million salary annually and a player option for the fifth year, the contract ensures stability for both Williams and the Bulls.

Last season, Williams averaged 10 points and 3.9 rebounds in 27.3 minutes per game.

Williams, who will turn 23 in August, is poised to play a pivotal role in the Bulls’ quest for NBA contention.
