Denver Nuggets high-scoring man Jamal Murray continues to deliver some key progress in his injury rehabilitation.

As such, the Nuggets will transfer him to their NBA G League affiliate, the Grand Rapids Gold, for practice purposes (h/t Harrison Wind, DNVR Sports).

Wind further pointed out that the workouts will serve as the basis for the ball club in making the next decisions for the 25-year-old guard. Currently, there’s no timetable of the return being released yet for Murray, who tore his ACL last year.

Recently, numerous reports have swirled that Murray has a 50-50 chance to make his much-awaited debut this 2022 season, yet this latest move by the franchise may spark optimism on the Denver faithful that the explosive point guard may reinforce them for a possible deep postseason run soon.

Without Murray and fellow talented cager in Michael Porter Jr., reigning MVP Nikola Jokic continues to hard carry the Nuggets squad in the competitive Western Conference. Currently, the Mile High City sits at the sixth seed with a 41-28 record as the end of the regular season is nearing.
