Former NBA champion and Hall of Famer Paul Pierce shared his insight into what is going on with the Lakers as the purple and gold lost another game, this time against the Raptors.
“The spirit of the Lakers is broken Lebron gotta score 50 fa them to have a chance,” Pierce tweeted, bringing up the fact that Los Angeles is 0-8 since the All-Star Game when LeBron James does not score 50 points.
Despite the loss, the Lakers remain in the play-in zone. With 29 wins and 39 losses they are ninth in the Western Conference and are 2.5 games above the eleventh-placed Trail Blazers.
