Paul Pierce was one of the main antagonists of LeBron James during his early years, as the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Boston Celtics were fighting for a place in the NBA Finals almost every season between 2006-2010.
Pierce talked about LeBron’s longevity in a halftime discussion on ESPN, after putting another impressive performance in the first half of the blowout loss vs. Denver.
James finished the contest with 22 points, ten rebounds and nine assists flirting with another triple-double this season. However, the Lakers could not get away with a win in the Mile High City.
The Lakers’ superstar is in the conversation to win the MVP award this year, as he leads the Lakers near the top of the Western Conference one and a half games behind the Utah Jazz.
