The Lakers added another veteran to the roster by signing D.J. Augustin. It will be his 11th team for the 34-year-old point guard who most recently played for the Rockets.

According to Lakers head coach Frank Vogel, Augustin brings to the team something that it needs. “He fills the need for what we have with his shooting and playmaking off the bounce. Hopefully, he can give us that type of lift,” Vogel said about Augustin.

The player has a career average of 9.6 points, 1.9 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game. This season he played 34 games for Houston averaging 5.4 points, 1.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 15 minutes per game.
