In the latest clip, former NBA star guard Gary Payton empathized with Gilbert Arenas’ story about blowing his rookie salary and admitted that he improperly managed his first-year salary as well.
Payton admitted to covering living costs for his five-guy crew. The NBA great reflected on that point in his life but had no regrets while stating his love for his childhood friends.
He also added that his decision to take care of his friends prevented them from having a deadly life. Payton also brought up LeBron James’ group of friends, who have all gone on to have successful careers.
