The Lakers fought till the end against one of the best teams in the NBA this season the Warriors. Despite the loss, there were some positive things to take away from this game for Los Angeles.
According to LeBron James, the players were connected in this game right from the start. This connectedness helped the Lakers put on a real fight against the Dubs.
“Just felt like we were connected,” James said. I felt like we were connected from the very first jump ball. Obviously the result is a lot different that we would like. I felt like that’s as connected as we’ve been in quite a while. It was good to have a good feel for one another.”
When asked what made the players be more connected, LeBron point at the passing of the trade deadline. “I think the trade deadline is over,” he said. “A lot of people got an opportunity just to move on notice this is what we have, this is what we’re going to be together and now we make a push.”
