Dante Exum is under a three-month contract with FC Barcelona, but has his sights set on returning to the NBA soon. The 26-year-old guard/forward is using his time with the Catalans to elevate his game and pursue an NBA contract.
“Yeah, I think that’s the plan. I’ve got three months, and hopefully, I can keep growing by getting better defensively and finding a place offensively.
Right now, I’m just playing it week by week, making sure that my game improves and that I’m staying healthy. That’s the biggest plan right now,” Dante Exum told Giorgos Kyriakidis of Basketnews.com.
The Australian forward has entered the Covid-19 protocols, so he will return to action next week. Exum is averaging 4.4 points, 2.8 rebounds and one assist in five EuroLeague games. For its part, FC Barcelona is on top of the standings, with a 15-3 record.
