In this VladTV clip, former NBA star guard Gilbert Arenas spoke about the 2006-07 season and playing against the Los Angeles Lakers in overtime, where he scored 60 points against Kobe Bryant. Gilbert explained that Kobe brought out the competitor in him, which led to him scoring so high that night. Arenas then addressed telling Kobe that “the mongoose killed the snake” on speakerphone after the game, which led to Gilbert’s “Black Mongoose” nickname:
