The Los Angeles Lakers are 0-3 in their last three game after the loss against the Phoenix Suns. It was a game of two different halves. The first half was a close contest and the second half belonged to Phoenix.

After the game, three-time NBA champion James Worthy shared his thoughts on what went wrong for the Lakers. According to him, the team is having the same problems every night.

“Phoenix is a well groomed basketball team. I think one of the best in the NBA right I am not surprised what they’ve been able to do,” Worthy said on Spectrum SportsNet. “But the Lakers… they had some fight… they were down six when Carmelo got thrown out of the game.

“The inability to knock down shots and turnovers. It’s the same story every night. Either it’s offensive rebounds, not shooting the ball well, turning it over. Phoenix runs a well-groomed offense. They don’t need a one player, they got several players that can get the job done. Just no continuity.

“I hate to say it, we say it every night we don’t know who’s going to start for this team. We just don’t know. They hadn’t had a chance to jell and it shows in their play.”

With 16 wins and 16 losses, the Lakers are 7th in the Western Conference. Meanwhile, Phoenix is first with 25 wins and 5 losses.
