Minnesota Timberwolves sophomore star Anthony Edwards shined during the team’s loss to the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night.

Edwards exploded for 48 points, five rebounds, five assists and two steals, showing why he’s the present and the future of the franchise. He shot an efficient 16-of-27 from the field, including 7-of-13 from beyond the arc.

Ant man set several records with his performance Wednesday night. According to Stat Muse, he is now the third-youngest player to have a 45-5-5 game, joining Brandon Jennings and LeBron James.

The only players with more 40-point games before turning 21 are LeBron James, Luka Doncic and Kevin Durant. He now has three 40-point games, just one behind Doncic and Durant and five below James.
