Russell Westbrook was the second top scorer for the Los Angeles Lakers in a win over the Houston Rockets. He also added 8 rebounds and 9 assists in what was a near-triple-double performance.

The 32-year-old point guard is getting more comfortable with his new team and it shows on the statsheet. After the game, Westbrook stressed the importance for the Lakers to get more possessions and limiting turnovers.

“We made an emphasis and talked about it and we know we got to do a better job of constantly getting more possessions and getting more shots and not turnovers,” Russ said. “But actually getting shots at the rim, finding ways to get better shots. When we do, it’s real positive for us. As you’ve seen to close the game I’ve got shots at the rim and open threes and really beneficial for us.”
