Los Angeles Clippers could not get past the Cleveland Cavaliers Wednesday. Paul George has struggled the last two games, and he’s openly admitting it’s because his legs aren’t quite there for now.

“I feel comfortable with all the shots I’ve been getting,” Paul George said. “Legs are just heavy right now.” George started the season averaging 35.0 points, 10.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists in the first two games of the season.

However, his numbers were significantly worse in the last two games, as the Clippers lost two in a row vs. the Blazers and Cleveland.

“As games come up, my body will get used to playing this load,” George said Wednesday. “35 minutes… That fatigue will go away.”

Paul George will have to carry the Clippers for an 82-game this season. He proved that he can do that during the 2021 postseason, when Leonard went down with injury.

The Clippers seem adequate on the defensive end, but they are yet to find rhythm on offense, after starting the season 1-3.
