Russell Westbrook made his best performance as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers and received high praise from head coach Frank Vogel.
Westbrook flirted with the triple double, with 33 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists and three steals, leading the Lakers past the Spurs in overtime (125-121).
For his part, Vogel said Russell Westbrook was ‘terrific’ and the main reason the Lakers secured a big road win.
The veteran coach also noted Westbrook will help the Lakers compete at a high level even without LeBron James or Anthony Davis in the lineup.
