The Milwaukee Bucks will be missing two important players for their game tonight against the Miami Heat.

Guard Jrue Holiday is out as he recovers from right heel and thigh contusions that he suffered in the team’s season opener against the Brooklyn Nets.

Holiday played 18 minutes and scored 12 points before exiting the game.

The 31-year-old’s MRI after the game came back clean.

“Everything is intact, so we’re hopeful,” said head coach Mike Budenholzer. “I think so far what we’ve received — information and MRI-wise — everything has been good, positive.”

Center Brook Lopez will also miss tonight’s game as he is dealing with back soreness.

It’s currently unclear how long the 33-year-old will be sidelined.

Lopez finished the first game with 8 points, 5 rebounds and 3 blocks in 28 minutes.

In Lopez and Holiday’s absence, superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo will be asked to play at the five, while Pat Connaughton, Grayson Allen, Jordan Nwora and George Hill will get more minutes in the backcourt and on the wing.

Bucks big man Bobby Portis also remains out with a hamstring injury that caused him to miss the entire preseason.
