Brook Lopez is reportedly heading for the exit in Milwaukee, according to a new report from Hardwood Paroxysm.

The 37-year-old center is set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer and is not expected to return to the Bucks.

Lopez, who just completed the final year of a two-year, $48 million deal, is described as “likely gone” by league sources.

Despite his age, the veteran remains one of the most respected rim protectors in the NBA. He averaged 13.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks over 80 regular-season starts in 2024–25.

His playoff production dropped sharply, logging just 14.8 minutes per game and averaging 5.0 points across Milwaukee’s five-game first-round loss to Indiana.

Lopez joined the Bucks in 2018 and played a key role in the franchise’s 2021 championship run.

This offseason, the Bucks are entering a pivotal transition. Following another early playoff exit, front office decisions are expected to reshape the roster.

Milwaukee already parted ways with Khris Middleton at the trade deadline, sending the three-time All-Star to the Wizards in exchange for Kyle Kuzma.

According to Hardwood Paroxysm, the Bucks are expected to retain Kevin Porter Jr., who was acquired in February from the Clippers for MarJon Beauchamp.

Porter, 25, impressed after joining Milwaukee, averaging 11.7 points and shooting 40.8% from three over 30 games. He holds a $2.5 million player option for next season.

Lopez’s exit would mark the end of a seven-year run with the Bucks.
