Giannis Antetokounmpo had his first practice session with the Milwaukee Bucks for the new season, as the 2021 Finals MVP is still recovering from a hyperextended knee.

Antetokounmpo did not take questions, but he assured he felt good. He also claimed that he’s behind from his teammates physical-wise.

“I practiced today. My first practice was good. The team looked good. I felt good. I got get up to date with the guys. They’re 10 speeds ahead of me, but I feel good. Things look really, really good for me now. I’m getting back healthy. I’m feeling good, so I’m excited.”

The Bucks’ superstar suffered a knee injury during last season’s playoffs. He was able to play through it and lead the Bucks to their first title in 50 years.

The next phase for the 2019 and 2020 MVP will be to see how his body reacts, as the Bucks are heading to Brooklyn to face the Nets Friday.
